If a mod not are updated 10 second after SCS or who ever there have made the game have send a update out there brake the mods. Yea i beleave that, i understand you go private, i know what you guys going thow there make mods, you hear alot if a a mod not comes out the same day the game does. My response was, "Okay, the community can thank you for the mod now staying private."īut yeah, a Scania or Volvo. Someone all-caps yelled at me for not yet releasing a mod I am working on for ATS, saying I had no right to film it for YouTube if the mod wasn't public. I was just adding to the conversation was all :) To give a perspective from a modder point of view as I have quickly seen these sorts of threads turn into more of a demand-fest rather than a request :) I still chuckle at a comment I got on my YouTube the other day. I'd love for a Scania or Volvo to make an appearance. I know i have made a lot of mods in the past for ETS2.

to make it is not hat easy as it to ask for them. I know it take times, I just followed the wishlist, over mods. You have more patience than I do by going public with things. at least know that it is appreciated by some folks, and I thank you already for at least making the effort. So for those who ARE creating bus mods from scratch. I look forward to seeing what folks upload here, but I absolutely do not envy the torture and hate that these mod authors will get in thanks for their hard effort.

The effort that goes into the work is part of why my mods are all private, because the precise moment I upload a mod to Steam, I guarantee it will be all over every third party download site with no credit given at all, AND of course I'd get pummeled with emails yelling about issues created by the edits others have made to one of my mods.ĭon't get me wrong. Honestly, I am hoping that when 3D mods DO come out, people are a bit more thankful in the Bus Sim community, but I highly doubt that. oh now that is a different world altogether. A full set of high quality wraps can be done for every bus in the game in under an hour. The reason we have so many decals right now is no matter what the quality of a decal, even a small child can knock out a Decal mod in under 5 minutes from start to finish. For me it can take a few months of solid focus to iron out a decent 3D model for a game.

It takes a LOT of time to make anything 3D-wise. Originally posted by YOUYU:Even with 3D Model that is ready, the Interfaces with the game buttons and sounds and engine notes and texture will take weeks of work (24/7) or months of work Exactly what both of these guys said.
